Ready to go! Shot while attending a western show in Arkansas. This photo was the basis of my first equine painting - the profile of my horse, Pocketchange.

Donna Thomas

Having been involved in art for the past 30 years, I now own and operate The Art School in Sandy Springs in Atlanta, GA which is fast gaining popularity throughout the southeastern US region primarily due to the quality of instruction and workshop offerings. My early training in art at the University of Georgia in the early 70's eventually led me to finish a degree in the medical field. After practicing for 20 years as a physical therapist, I opened a gallery and now, my school. This medical experience helped me really understand human anatomy and its application in art.
